DESCRIPTION
Join our established emergency medicine team at Hanover Emergency Center, a
freestanding emergency department affiliated with Henrico Doctors'
Hospital-Forest, one of the leading healthcare systems in the Richmond,
Virginia, market.
This is an excellent opportunity for EM physicians seeking a high-acuity,
community practice with competitive compensation, supportive staffing, and a
desirable Richmond-area location.
Position Highlights

* Located in Mechanicsville, just minutes from Richmond
* Affiliated with Henrico Doctors' Hospital-Forest
* Approximately 16,000 annual patient visits
* 12-bed ED
* 24 hours of physician coverage daily
* Clinician productivity averages 1.8 - 2.0 patients per hour
* Onsite laboratory and imaging services
* MEDITECH Expanse EMR
* 12-hour shifts: 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am

Key Responsibilities
The staff physician will provide high-acuity emergency medical care to patients at the Hanover Emergency Center. Responsibilities include managing patient flow, utilizing onsite laboratory and imaging services, and maintaining accurate medical records via the MEDITECH Expanse EMR system.
Requirements
Candidates must be qualified emergency medicine physicians capable of managing a high-acuity community practice. The role requires the ability to work 12-hour shifts in a freestanding emergency department setting.
