Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist Assistant provides skilled technical physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist, following physician orders and established policies. Responsibilities include assisting with progress evaluations, observing and reporting patient reactions, and maintaining daily treatment records and progress notes.

Requirements

Candidates must possess an Associate’s Degree from a Physical Therapist Assistant Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association. Additionally, the applicant must be licensed to practice in the state where employment will occur, with active membership in state and national Physical Therapy Associations being preferred.
