Key Responsibilities
The COTA will assist in delivering individualized therapy based on treatment plans to improve patients' daily living skills and mobility. They are also responsible for tracking patient progress, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an Associate’s degree in an Occupational Therapy Assistant program and possess current COTA certification from the NBCOT. State licensure or eligibility to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is also required.
