Job Description

Night (United States of America) Registered Respiratory Therapist This Therapist will provide optimum respiratory care (excluding invasive procedures) for newborn, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients for the departments assigned by the supervisor. - Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. - Florida professional license - Critical care experience preferred. - Competitive salaries. - Areas only Level II Trauma Center - Initiates, maintains and manages mechanical ventilation - Draws, analyzes arterial blood gases as well as a-line insertion in intensive care units. - Covers Cardiovascular Intensive Care, Intensive Surgical care, Intensive Medical Care, Pediatrics and Medical Surgical floors. - Areas largest Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities

Provide optimum respiratory care for newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients across various intensive care and medical-surgical units. Responsibilities include managing mechanical ventilation and performing arterial blood gas analysis and a-line insertions.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program and a Florida professional license. Critical care experience is preferred.
