Key Responsibilities

The Hospitalist is responsible for providing direct inpatient clinical care and managing the medical issues of acutely ill, hospitalized, adult, non-surgical patients. This role involves leading the interdisciplinary team to enhance efficiency and facilitate the entire continuum of patient care from admission through discharge.

Requirements

Residency and board certification must be in the area of specialty, although board-eligible physicians will be considered if certification is obtained within four years of eligibility. The role requires displaying the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct while supporting the organization's mission.
