Key Responsibilities
- and Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of children’s motor skills, sensory processing, visual-perceptual abilities, and functional performance.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and child/family goals.
- Utilize therapeutic activities, sensory integration techniques, and adaptive equipment to improve participation in daily routines.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to support carryover of therapeutic goals in home and school settings.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or above in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current and valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Kentucky.
- Initial certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Previous experience working with children in clinical, school, or early intervention settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of child development, sensory integration, and pediatric assessment tools.
