Want to move into aesthetics but keep seeing "aesthetic experience required"?
How does an excellent Nurse Practitioner enter aesthetics if every employer expects someone else to have trained them? At Solterra, you already learned the difficult part: how to be a clinician. Aesthetic technique can be taught. Clinical judgment is much harder to teach.
Solterra Wellness Club is hiring a part-time W-2 Nurse Practitioner for our founding Aesthetics and IV Wellness team at The Galaxy at Polaris. Prior aesthetic experience is welcome, but preferred - not required.
Approved training, meetings, administrative duties, and assigned non-production clinical time are paid at $60 per hour. Production compensation is 60% of eligible collected service revenue after agreed direct product costs.
A Clinician-First Approach
We are building a conservative, patient-centered medical wellness program - not a high-pressure injection factory. The right NP listens carefully, documents thoroughly, practices within scope and protocol, and is comfortable saying no when treatment is not appropriate.
Potential services include wrinkle-relaxing injectables, collagen-supporting aesthetic treatments, consultations, IV therapy, NAD+ therapy, wellness injections, IM and subcutaneous injections, and additional evidence-informed services as competencies develop.
Training and Competency
For the right experienced clinician without significant aesthetic experience, Solterra will provide approved training and competency development. Training may include facial anatomy, consultation, wrinkle-relaxing injectables, technique, treatment planning, complication recognition and response, IV and wellness protocols, documentation, and safety.
Training does not automatically grant independent treatment privileges. Privileges depend on demonstrated training and competency, active licensing, scope of practice, and Solterra protocols.
What You Will Do
- Conduct careful consultations, assessments, treatment planning, consent, documentation, and follow-up
- Deliver approved services safely within demonstrated competency
- Maintain infection-control, medication-handling, and emergency-readiness standards
- Recognize and escalate complications appropriately
- Educate patients without pressure selling
- Help shape thoughtful protocols and a strong founding patient experience
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Ohio APRN or NP license in good standing
- Appropriate Ohio prescriptive authority for assigned services
- Current BLS certification
- Strong assessment, clinical judgment, documentation, and communication
- Ability to work independently within established protocols and scope
- Commitment to conservative, evidence-informed care
Valuable Experience
IV access, infusion therapy, IM or subcutaneous injections, emergency response, medication administration, Botox, Dysport, fillers, Sculptra, or other aesthetic treatments are valuable. Clinicians from emergency medicine, ICU or acute care, urgent care, family medicine, women's health, dermatology, plastic surgery, infusion therapy, and medical aesthetics are encouraged to apply.
Schedule and Growth
This is a part-time W-2 role with additional hours possible as the practice grows. Solterra is a new medical wellness program, so patient volume will build over time. This can fit an NP who wants to enter or expand in aesthetics while maintaining another clinical position during early growth.
Compensation
- $60 per hour for approved training, meetings, administrative duties, and assigned non-production clinical time
- 60% of eligible collected service revenue after agreed direct product costs
Actual production earnings depend on completed services, collected revenue, product costs, and patient volume.
Apply with your resume and three short questions. No cover letter is required.
