About the Role

Join Children’s National Hospital as a Pathologist Assistant – PRN in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • in the evaluation, and processing of patient specimens within defined departmental operating policies, under the direct supervision of a pathologist.
  • Will operate various autopsy and laboratory equipment such as autopsy saw, camera, processors, cryostats, computers and dictation equipment.

Requirements

  • Education Bachelor's Degree B.
  • (Required) Graduate of a NACCLS accredited Pathologists' Assistant Program.
  • Minimum Work Experience 1 year - prior work experience in an Anatomic Pathology lab (Preferred) Required Licenses and Certifications PA (ASCP) or eligible.
  • Certification must be obtained within one year of hire.

Work Schedule

  • Per Diem position.
  • No explicit call, weekend, or night shift information provided.
