Job Description
At Riverwood Center we have a team of caring and committed professionals providing a wide array of personalized services to individuals with behavioral health, intellectual & developmental disabilities and substance use disorders.
Riverwood Center is located in beautiful Southwest Michigan with staff at seven sites across Berrien County.
We are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and a member of Southwest Michigan Behavioral Health, Michigan Association of Community Mental Health Boards, and the National Council for Behavioral Health.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning, organizing, and oversight of the day-to-day operations of all Behavior Treatment and Psychological Testing functions for consumers with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or severe and persistent mental illnesses
- Interprets and implements Medicaid requirements as well as all MDHHS Technical Requirement updates and revisions
- Serves as the Behavior Treatment Committee (BTC) Chairperson
- Performs Utilization Management reviews of Applied Behavioral Analysis service requests to assure medical necessity is met
- Maintains a caseload of consumers with Behavior Treatment Plans and monitors accordingly
- Provides education and clinical guidance to consumers, families, provider agencies and clinicians on
Behavior Treatment best practices and guidelines
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in clinical psychology
- Three or more years of experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental
Disabilities or Severe and Persistent Mental Illness
- Preferred candidates will have two or more years’ experience in a supervisory role
Licensure/Certification
- State of Michigan as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
