Key Responsibilities
The Respiratory Therapist performs floor care therapies, oxygen administration, and assists with endotracheal intubation and extubation. They are also responsible for maintaining clinical competency in mechanical ventilation and performing arterial blood gas draws.
Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma, be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program, and hold an active RRT Florida license. Additionally, the role requires at least one year of hospital experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
