To meet the needs of the region and provide seamless, high quality, comprehensive Psychiatric care, we are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Psychiatrist to join our rapidly growing team.

We have a Behavioral Health Inpatient Program that provides a therapeutic environment with assessments and treatment by a multi-disciplinary team of psychiatrist, psychologists, nurses, social workers and mental health technicians.

We also offer CPEP Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program that provides 24-hour crisis services for adults and children in crisis. LOCATION: Binghamton, NY is located 2.5 hours north of New York City and 1 hour from Syracuse, NY.

The position includes a competitive starting salary of $250,000 to $290,000 and a vast array of employment benefits. Formed in 1981 through the consolidation of three community hospitals, United Health Services Hospitals employs more than 6,000 people.

As a teaching hospital, affiliated with the SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY and the Binghamton University Health Sciences Center, United Health Services Hospitals trains over 100physicians per year in residency and fellowship programs.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive psychiatric care within a Behavioral Health Inpatient Program and a Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP). Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver assessments and treatment for adults and children in crisis.

Requirements

Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry. The role requires the ability to work in a teaching hospital environment and provide 24-hour crisis services.
