Physician Assistant - Bariatric Surgery

Key Responsibilities

The Bariatric Surgery Advanced Practice Provider performs daily inpatient rounding, manages consults, and coordinates patient care in collaboration with the surgical team. They are responsible for conducting physical exams, ordering diagnostic studies, managing wound care, and facilitating patient discharges.

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with current unrestricted licensure in North Carolina. At least one to two years of clinical experience in general surgery or trauma is strongly preferred.
