This position is responsible for: Providing, under the general direction of the Therapist in Charge or Assistant Director of Respiratory Care, all routine and emergency respiratory care in all patient care areas.

The Respiratory Therapist provides routine and emergency respiratory care across all patient areas, including clinical direction for trainees and consultation/education for other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities involve verifying physician orders, assessing patients, and administering various respiratory therapies and emergency life support procedures.
Candidates must possess a Florida State License, NBRC - RRT certification, and American Heart Association BLS certification, with PALS required within six months of hire. Eligibility for the sign-on bonus requires a minimum of three years of Pediatric ICU RT experience.
