Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily rounding, respond to new consults, and manage patient admissions and discharges
  • Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop and implement treatment plans
  • Initial orientation will focus on hospital management of pulmonary and critical care patients
  • We also offer employer-provided long-term disability (LTD) coverage, which equals 50% of your base pay, up to $17,500 per month
  • Eligible to provide services reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid

Requirements

  • Perform advanced procedures consistent with training, credentialing, and scope of practice
  • Physician Assistant: Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
  • Physician Assistant: Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado
  • Nurse Practitioner: Master's degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in the course of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross

  • Compensation
  • The pay range for this full-time position is $114,088 - $153,548 annually
  • Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Work Schedule

  • Shift & Schedule
  • Night shifts are from 7:00 pm through 7:00 am
  • Every 3rd weekend in the hospital
  • No call at this time
  • This role focuses on providing excellent patient care during night shifts, primarily in an inpatient setting
