This position qualifies for federal student loan forgiveness. After 10 years of qualifying payments while working full-time for a nonprofit employer, the remaining balance on your Direct Loans may be forgiven.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct daily rounding, respond to new consults, and manage patient admissions and discharges
Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop and implement treatment plans
Initial orientation will focus on hospital management of pulmonary and critical care patients
We also offer employer-provided long-term disability (LTD) coverage, which equals 50% of your base pay, up to $17,500 per month
Eligible to provide services reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid

Requirements

Perform advanced procedures consistent with training, credentialing, and scope of practice
Physician Assistant: Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
Physician Assistant: Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado
Nurse Practitioner: Master's degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in the course of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross

Compensation
The pay range for this full-time position is $114,088 - $153,548 annually
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Work Schedule

Shift & Schedule
Night shifts are from 7:00 pm through 7:00 am
Every 3rd weekend in the hospital
No call at this time
This role focuses on providing excellent patient care during night shifts, primarily in an inpatient setting
