Requirements
- Medical Degree
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Cardiology Preferred Experience, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Clinical experience in an academic setting after residency
- A valid medical license in at least on U. S. state
Benefits & Compensation
- Interest in critical analysis of the medical literature (skills can be learned on the job)
- Compensation: $173,500.00 - $310,000.00 USD This role is eligible for Bonus
- Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position
- Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location
- Extensive editorial training is provided to help the editor learn critical skills for evaluating the literature and creating content in the UpToDate style
- UpToDate editors work closely with outside authors, section editors, editors-in-chief, and peer reviewers to ensure the material is accurate and free of bias
Work Schedule
- Physician Editors also systematically review existing topics for clarity, completeness, and clinical relevance
