Key Responsibilities

• Serves as a resource and subject matter expert and as a coding consultant to providers.
• Opportunities for internal training and development
• Accuracy in data entry into practice management system.
• Accuracy in data entry into practice management system
• Works closely with physicians and other providers/office staff regarding completeness of office notes and operative reports to ensure accurate coding

Requirements

• CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL CODER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
• Proof of up to date CEUs and coding certification.
• Experience Required:
• Minimum of one year of orthopedic coding experience.
• Professional license or certification requirements:
• Valid drivers license to travel to other offices, if needed.
