About the Role

Join Rosecrance Behavioral Health as a Addiction Counselor - Adult Population in United States. Become a champion of hope. At Rosecrance, we’ve been leading the way in behavioral health services for over a century.

Key Responsibilities

  • hour shifts
  • Sunday–Thursday
  • 9:00 a. m. – 5:30 p. m.
  • Thursday to serve as the late shift (1:00 p. m. – 9:00 p. m.) Compensation & Rewards Based on education, experience and credentials

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies or other related field, or equivalent experience and training (Master's preferred).
  • Illinois Certified Addiction Counselor (CADC), or licensed in Illinois as a LSW or LPC which supersedes the CADC within 2 years of employment in substance used disorder services
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport

Benefits & Compensation

  • Starting Pay:
  • Base Pay: Bachelor's Level $24.44/hour Master's level $27.77/hour
  • Professional Certification (e. g., CADC, CRSS, CPS): $1,500 annually
  • Clinical Licensure (e. g., LPC/LSW/LMSW, LCPC/LCSW/LMHC): $1,800 – $5,000 annually

Work Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • Call responsibilities required.
