Join District of Columbia Bar as a Sr. Counselor, LAP – Hybrid in Washington, District of Columbia. The Sr. Counselor, Lawyer Assistance Program has responsibility for providing clinical and consultative services to LAP clients and others seeking LAP consultations and services, and for maintaining the confidentiality of LAP clinical records in compliance with Federal confidentiality regulations.
This position offers hybrid flexibility. Work with District of Columbia Bar in Washington, District of Columbia.
The Senior Counselor provides clinical evaluations, counseling, and monitoring for clients dealing with substance use, mental health, or stress-related issues. Additionally, the role involves developing educational outreach materials and coordinating programming for legal professionals and students.
Candidates must hold an independent clinical licensure and possess relevant experience in providing direct adult clinical services. A Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling and certifications such as SAP or CEAP are preferred.
