Low Demand Weekend Day Counselor

Key Responsibilities

The counselor will work within a low-threshold model to provide trauma-informed care and maintain safety for veterans experiencing homelessness. Responsibilities include managing crisis situations, documenting shift activities, and collaborating with the operations team and VA staff.

Requirements

Candidates must have an associate degree and three to five years of experience working with substance abuse and mental health populations. Strong skills in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and harm reduction models are required.
