Key Responsibilities

The Patient Assistance Counselor assesses uninsured and underinsured patients for financial assistance eligibility and manages the enrollment process. They maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure patients receive necessary financial resources.

Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience in a medical business office or healthcare setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic business math is required, along with the ability to obtain a Certified Application Counselor designation.
