Charge Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Unit Position Title: Charge RN – MedSurg Department: Medical/Surgical (20‑Bed Unit) Employment Type: Full-Time Shifts: Day shift; charge nurse differential applies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and supervision to MedSurg nursing staff during assigned shift.
  • Coordinate patient assignments, admissions, discharges, and transfers to maintain optimal unit flow.
  • Serve as a clinical resource to nursing staff, assisting with problem
  • solving and decision

Requirements

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and unit efficiency.
  • Participate in staff development, mentoring, and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Escalate operational or clinical concerns to leadership when needed. Required Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
