Key Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist performs daily respiratory care procedures, including medication administration, ventilator management, and emergency response. They also serve as a knowledgeable resource for staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Candidates must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with an Associate Degree and hold a valid Kentucky Respiratory Care Practitioner license. Active BLS certification is required, with the expectation to obtain PALS and NRP within six months.
