The Registered Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for obtaining and verifying physician orders for therapy, reviewing medical records, and performing therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to the patient's age. Duties also include documenting all aspects of each treatment session according to regulatory guidelines and participating in the orientation and training of new employees.
Candidates must be a graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care program and possess a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification upon hire. CVICU/ICU experience is strongly preferred, and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be maintained quarterly.
