Key Responsibilities

The Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for delivering respiratory treatment to patients suffering from breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. This includes rendering treatment, performing diagnostic tests under physician supervision, and reporting any adverse reactions or concerns.

Requirements

Candidates must possess an Associate's degree from an approved Respiratory Therapy program and hold the RRT certification, along with a minimum of one year of related experience. Required licensing includes certification from the DOH/Office of Professions and current BCLS/ACLS or PALS/NRP certifications.
