Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist for Baptist Town Center. This is a full-time night shift opportunity.
We are looking to hire an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in high-stress, fast-paced environment.
Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Responsibilities
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with breathing disorders
- Administering respiratory therapies
- Performing and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Monitoring and managing mechanical ventilators for patients who require respiratory support
Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Providing patient education and support on proper breathing techniques, medication usage, and lifestyle changes
- Maintaining accurate and complete patient assessments, treatments, and progress documentation
- Registered Respiratory Therapist Education & Credential Requirements:
- Certificate Require
- Associate of Science Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
- Or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Preferred
- Or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Preferred

Key Responsibilities
The Registered Respiratory Therapist will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with breathing disorders while managing mechanical ventilators. They will also collaborate with healthcare teams to implement treatment plans and provide patient education on breathing techniques and medication usage.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Florida Licensed Respiratory Therapist credential and a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. An Associate of Science degree is preferred, along with additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP.
