Key Responsibilities
The respiratory therapist is responsible for providing quality-oriented patient care and operating respiratory equipment for diagnosis and treatment. They also perform support activities such as equipment maintenance, inventory management, and setup.
Requirements
Candidates must be graduates of a respiratory therapy program and hold a valid license as a Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist. Current BLS certification is required, and ACLS certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
