Job Description

Position Summary

The OB/GYN Clinic Manager is responsible for the operational management and day-to-day supervision of the OB/GYN practice. This role ensures efficient clinic operations, high-quality patient care, staff development, regulatory compliance, patient satisfaction, and financial performance.

The Clinic Manager reports directly to the director of women’s health and works closely with the clinic leadership across the women’s health division in support of continuous practice improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily clinic operations and patient flow.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, timekeeping, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and leadership to improve efficiency and patient outcomes.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction, quality metrics, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support revenue cycle processes, documentation accuracy, and operational performance goals.
  • Optimize EPIC workflows, referrals, scheduling, and in-basket management.
  • Conduct staff meetings, huddles, and training sessions.
  • Ensure adequate inventory and facility readiness.
  • Responsible for maintaining clinic compliance activities and identifying improvements supporting best practices.
  • Actively participate in supporting the process for ongoing team educational needs

Qualifications

  • Associate degree plus five years of relevant healthcare leadership experience, or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • RN, or LVN
  • Minimum three years of supervisory experience in an ambulatory practice or healthcare setting.
  • Women’s Health or OB/GYN practice experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of clinic operations, quality improvement, compliance, and patient access.
  • Proficiency with EPIC and Microsoft Office.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze operational and financial data.
  • Knowledge of ambulatory practice management and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with providers, staff, and patients.
  • Practiced in applying employee engagement initiatives

Licensure & Certifications

Candidates must have at least three years of supervisory experience in an ambulatory or healthcare setting, with a preference for OB/GYN or Women's Health experience. An Associate degree is required, while a Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with active RN or LVN licensure.
