Group Counselor

Key Responsibilities

The Group Counselor will facilitate structured therapeutic and psychoeducational groups for adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns. They are responsible for maintaining a safe, engaging environment, completing accurate clinical documentation, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary treatment team.

Requirements

Candidates must hold or be working toward a relevant behavioral health credential such as CAT, CAS, LAC, or independent licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT). Applicants should have previous experience facilitating therapeutic groups and the ability to manage complex group dynamics effectively.
