True Sports Physical Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist - Level 1 to deliver high-quality, goal-focused care to athletes. This role supports the clinical team by ensuring patients receive effective evaluations, individualized treatment, and clear progress documentation throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Success in this position means providing evidence-informed physical therapy that restores function, reduces pain, supports safe return to activity, and prevents re-injury while maintaining timely, accurate documentation and collaborating with athletes, coaches, and the broader care team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of athletes’ injuries, medical history, and physical condition to identify impairments and functional limitations.
Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings, focusing on restoring function, reducing pain, and preventing further injury.
Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, exercises, and modalities to address musculoskeletal issues and promote optimal recovery.
Work closely with athletes, coaches, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and optimize the overall treatment plan.
Provide education and guidance on injury prevention, exercise techniques, and self-management strategies to clients.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure alignment with rehabilitation goals.
Maintain timely, accurate, and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Organize and participate in community marketing outreach events, including schools, clubs, and fitness facilities.
- Maintain an up-to-date schedule to support accurate and efficient patient appointment planning.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace and gym throughout the day.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management, consistent with the role and operational needs.
Requirements
- 0-2 Years of experience
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT).
- Valid state license to practice.
- Background in strength and conditioning.
- Preferred certifications: CSCS, PES, ATC, USAW, SCS, OCS, Cert DN.
- Ability to conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized, evidence-informed treatment plans.
- Strong communication skills, including clear verbal and written documentation.
- Demonstrated decision-making and judgment with a focus on patient goals, risks, and constraints.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address complex or sensitive client needs.
- Accountability and dependability with consistent quality and timeliness of work.
- Patient-focused mindset that supports customer satisfaction.
- Commitment to ethics and integrity in all professional interactions.
- Safety focus and adherence to workplace and trade safety laws, regulations, standards, and practices.
- Ability to build constructive relationships and work effectively as part of a team.
