The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients' ability to perform daily activities in the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) and develops individualized treatment plans to enhance functional independence. This role involves implementing therapeutic interventions, educating patients and caregivers, guiding adaptive equipment use, documenting progress, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team on care and discharge planning.
Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program and hold a current state Occupational Therapist (OT) license, along with Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification. Experience in an Inpatient Rehabilitation setting is preferred.
