Urgent Care Veterinarian – Northeast Florida

DVM Focus is representing a full-time or part-time Urgent Care Veterinarian opportunity in Northeast Florida for a DVM who enjoys the pace and variety of urgent medicine without the overnight schedule commonly associated with emergency practice.

This role provides an opportunity to manage same-day and urgent cases while working within a veterinary team focused on accessible, high-quality patient care.

The Opportunity

The Urgent Care Veterinarian will evaluate and treat a varied caseload of patients requiring timely medical attention, including:

  • Same-day illness and injury cases
  • Diagnostic workups and treatment planning
  • Stabilization and management of urgent medical cases
  • Client education and communication
  • Coordination of follow-up or referral care when appropriate

Collaboration with Veterinary and Support-team Colleagues

The position offers flexibility for veterinarians interested in either a full-time or part-time schedule.

Qualifications

  • DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary degree
  • Florida veterinary license or ability to obtain one
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced veterinary environment
