Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join a dynamic educational team in Riverview, MI. This is an outstanding opportunity to advance your career while applying your expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior to support student success.
In this role, you will work to help children and adolescents overcome academic, social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. If you are passionate about student well-being and thrive in a collaborative school environment, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments in response to referrals from educators and administrators
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, emotional, and social concerns
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff on psycho-educational matters impacting student performance and well-being
- Provide services across the district, including 1 Early Childhood Center (ECC), 3 elementary schools, middle school, and high school.
Requirements
- Active state license as a School Psychologist
- Certification in School Psychology (initial or continuing)
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum of 6 months of recent relevant experience within the last 5 years
- Must work on-site
