Key Responsibilities

The role involves providing evaluation and care for respiratory therapy patients by administering prescribed therapeutic services, performing basic and advanced procedures for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, and managing mechanical ventilation. Responsibilities also include equipment quality control, effective communication with the healthcare team, and participation in quality improvement activities.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications require state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in MD, OH, PA, or WV, and one year of relevant experience, with certification in Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire. Preferred qualifications include being a Registered Respiratory Therapist and having two years of experience.
