The Respiratory Therapist delivers competent and compassionate respiratory care services to patients of all age groups. They also perform and monitor moderately complex testing within the blood gas laboratory while collaborating with the medical team.
Requirements
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Practitioner program and hold a current Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner License. Certification as a CRT or RRT through the NBRC and current BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification are required.
