About the Role

Join Providence as a Professional Counselor – Per Diem On-Call in United States. Professional Counselor - Psych Adult at Providence Portland Medical Center. This is a Per Diem/On-Call, Variable Shift position, could be any days with Sunday and Saturday.

Key Responsibilities

will collaborate with patient/support system to evaluate and diagnose patients.

will utilize established approaches and standards; complete assessment of patient risk to self and/or others; complete and implement risk reduction/mitigation plans to ensure patient and community safety; incorporate evidence based approaches to psychotherapy including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and the recovery model, Under clinical supervision, this position will also demonstrate effectiveness in individual, group and family psychotherapy and multi-modal treatment settings.

Requirements

Master's Degree in Counseling or related field

Upon hire: Oregon Professional Counselor License, Or
