Key Responsibilities

The Physician Assistant provides comprehensive medical care to inmates, including evaluating acute complaints and coordinating emergency services. They also collaborate with medical leadership and mental health professionals to ensure clinical documentation and treatment protocols are followed.

Requirements

Candidates must have completed an accredited Physician Assistant program and possess at least two years of experience, preferably in a correctional setting. A current, unrestricted state license, DEA registration, and active BLS/PALS certifications are required.
