Behavioral Health Technician

Key Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Technician provides direct patient care and maintains a safe, therapeutic environment for psychiatric patients under the supervision of an RN. Responsibilities include assisting with admissions, monitoring vital signs, collecting specimens, and facilitating therapeutic group sessions.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and have at least two years of relevant experience in the field. A valid Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
