About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Review provider discharge orders for accuracy and completeness and clarify discrepancies as needed.
- Provide comprehensive patient and family education on medications, treatments, follow up appointments, warning signs and self-care instructions.
- Instruct patients and families on topics such as health education, disease prevention, and answer patient questions to make informed decisions about their health and treatment.
- Use tools such as teach-back to confirm understanding.
Requirements
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications must be obtained through the AHA Full Time
