Key Responsibilities

  • Manage prescription medications as directed, and perform therapeutic and diagnostic injections in accordance with scope of practice.
  • Collaborate with the attending physician and clinical staff to optimize daily scheduling and ensure efficient use of physician and PA resources.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, staff, and collaborating physicians to foster a positive care environment.
  • Uphold patient privacy rights and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and clinic policies.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate ethical decision-making.

Requirements

  • Location: Primarily based out of our Vail Clinic - with travel required to other clinic locations.
  • 2+ years experience is preferred, however we are definitely open to well-qualified new graduates.

  • CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: Certification by the National Commission for Certified Physician’s Assistants (NCCPA) required
  • Registered and licensed by the Colorado Board of Medical Examiners
  • Current DEA number required

  • Compensation: Our salary range is commensurate with experience, both as a PA-C and PA-S, particularly with surgery, orthopaedics and independent clinic experience.

  • Classification: Our PA roles are full-time, year round, exempt positions with benefits; call responsibility varies.

  • In addition, employees accrue sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours / year
