Key Responsibilities
- Manage prescription medications as directed, and perform therapeutic and diagnostic injections in accordance with scope of practice.
- Collaborate with the attending physician and clinical staff to optimize daily scheduling and ensure efficient use of physician and PA resources.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, staff, and collaborating physicians to foster a positive care environment.
- Uphold patient privacy rights and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and clinic policies.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate ethical decision-making.

Requirements
- Location: Primarily based out of our Vail Clinic - with travel required to other clinic locations.
- 2+ years experience is preferred, however we are definitely open to well-qualified new graduates.

- CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: Certification by the National Commission for Certified Physician’s Assistants (NCCPA) required
- Registered and licensed by the Colorado Board of Medical Examiners
- Current DEA number required

- Compensation: Our salary range is commensurate with experience, both as a PA-C and PA-S, particularly with surgery, orthopaedics and independent clinic experience.
- Facilitate communication between external physicians, physical/occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of patient care and ongoing treatment plans.

Work Schedule
- Classification: Our PA roles are full-time, year round, exempt positions with benefits; call responsibility varies.

- In addition, employees accrue sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours / year
