About the Role

Join Frederick Health as a Clinical Pharmacist – Emergency Relief, $88K-$127K in Frederick, Maryland.

Key Responsibilities

Must demonstrate and maintain current knowledge and skills in providing appropriate care/contact for patients in the following age groups: X__Neonate (0 thru 30 days) _X_Infant (31 thru 12 months) _X_Child (13 months thru 12 years) _X_Adolescent (13 years thru 17 years) _X_Adult (18 years thru 65 years) _X_Geriatric (66+ years) Physical Demands: Light Work - Lifting up to 20 pounds on an infrequent basis (less than one lift every three minutes and/or carrying up to 10 pounds, or requiring walking or standing to a significant degree (about six [6] hours a day).

Requirements

This position is responsible for providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients of all ages through integrated drug distribution, clinical services, and provision of drug information.

S/he collaborates with medical and nursing staff to ensure high quality, safe medication management.

S/he ensures that all medication standards as documented in standard operating procedures and/or state/federal regulations are maintained.

The Pharmacist also shares professional responsibility for oversight of Pharmacy Technicians’ work to ensure accuracy and timeliness of pharmaceutical preparations.

Work Schedule

Full-Time position.

Weekend coverage may be required.
