White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Audiology Supervisor to manage our newborn hearing screening program who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. ** Qualified candidates will be eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

As an Audiology Supervisor You Will

  • Monitor and support day-day operations of the program to fulfill Our Main Thing via NBHS technician supervision, equipment maintenance; staffing; interviewing & onboarding new hires; annual employee performance reviews, interfacing with MBU and NCU staff/physicians/leadership, and monitoring state and national NBHS guidelines.
  • Perform all duties of Audiologist(s) including review of newborn hearing screening results, parent consultations, infant screening when needed, and referrals to physicians and for diagnostic testing, as needed.
  • Oversee State-mandated record keeping for the MD Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Program (EHDI).
  • Employ Standard Management Approach for staff education, development and engagement. (via staff meetings, emails and text communications, as needed)
  • Manage the Outpatient clinic for follow-up of babies who fail the initial NBHS

Qualifications Include

  • Master’s degree in Audiology
  • Maryland license as Audiologist
  • 5 years’ clinical experience
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Newborn/pediatric experience preferred.
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Work Schedule

  • Employment Type: Part Time
  • Hours per Week: 20 hrs./week
  • Typical Daily Schedule: Monday-Friday 4 hours a day with schedule flexibility
  • Shift Type: Day
  • Weekend Requirements: Availability / accessibility on weekends as needed.
  • Holiday Requirements: Required Follow company holiday calendar
  • Shift Differential Eligible: No

$5,000 sign-on bonus over 2 installments (paid at 90 days &1 year of hire date) *Current AHC employees are not eligible for a sign-on bonus who are transferring from one entity to another and/or transferring within their entity. Employees that have terminated their employment with AHC are not eligible for a sign-on bonus prior to six months of returning if hired for a position offering a sign-on bonus.

Pay Range

  • $37.17 - $55.76
