Job description
Join Exalt Health Rehabilitation Hospital Conroe LLC as a Respiratory Therapist PRN – Acute Rehab in Conroe, Texas.
Key Responsibilities
- Treatment Delivery: Provide a range of respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, mechanical ventilation management, and airway clearance techniques.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and family members about respiratory conditions, self-management techniques, and proper use of respiratory equipment.
- Documentation: Accurately maintain patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and responses to therapy.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Licenses or Certifications Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Current, unencumbered license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in the state where currently practicing.
- Current BLS required via the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
- Current ACLS required via the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred, but required in AZ.
