UCI Health is comprised of its main campus, UCI Medical Center, a 459-bed, acute care hospital in in Orange, Calif.

Key Responsibilities

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Must possess current BLS certification or attain prior to hire Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Must be able to participate in on call rotation and work occasional weekends & evenings Minimum two (2) years of experience in acute care with VAD/MCS Minimum of two (2) years critical care experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Current California RN license Current California Nurse Practitioner Licensure Ability to obtain UCIMC Allied Health Professional Privileges prior to hire Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System ACLS within 30 days of employment Preferred Qualifications: Specialty nursing certification relating to the patient population Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms Bilingual in English and Spanish Total Rewards We offer a wealth of benefits to make working at UCI even more rewarding.
