Key Responsibilities
- Will Do Psychological Assessment & Evaluation Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments in accordance with DSM-5-TR criteria Administer, score, and interpret psychological and cognitive testing as clinically indicated Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with clinical findings and program goals Conduct risk assessments, including suicidality evaluations and Baker Act assessments when appropriate Clinical Treatment Services Provide evidence-based individual, group, and/or family therapy services Deliver trauma-informed and culturally competent care utilizing modalities such as CBT, DBT, MI, and other clinically appropriate interventions Support clients experiencing homelessness, substance use disorders, and co-occurring behavioral health conditions Participate in crisis intervention and stabilization efforts as needed Collaboration & Clinical Consultation Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including case managers, medical staff, and behavioral health providers Provide clinical consultation and recommendations to support integrated care planning Participate in treatment team meetings, case conferences, and discharge planning activities Documentation & Compliance Complete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with agency standards, payer requirements, and applicable federal and state regulations, including 42 CFR where applicable Maintain compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality standards, and all contractual obligations Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and service coordination Contractor Expectations Maintain active licensure and all required professional credentials throughout the contract term Maintain individual professional liability (malpractice) insurance coverage Responsible for all taxes, benefits, and business-related expenses as an independent contractor Provide services in accordance with the agreed-upon schedule, scope of work, and contractual service rates Submit timely and accurate invoices in accordance with contractual requirements Adhere to all Camillus House policies, procedures, and compliance standards Work Environment Shelter-based and residential treatment programs Outpatient behavioral health settings, including PHP/IOP environments as applicable Crisis stabilization and community-based service settings Multidisciplinary, fast-paced, high-acuity behavioral health environment Additional Considerations This position is classified as a 1099 Independent Contractor role Contractors are responsible for managing their own taxes, insurance, and benefits All services must comply with Camillus House policies, professional standards, and applicable federal and state regulations Strict confidentiality of all client and organizational information must be maintained at all times Equal Opportunity Camillus House is an equal opportunity employer and a drug-free workplace.
