Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist confirms and interprets physician referrals, performs patient assessments, and implements individualized treatment programs. They coordinate patient care and document in medical records while supervising PTAs and collaborating with the healthcare team.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an approved school of Physical Therapy with a bachelor's degree and five years of experience, or a master's or doctorate degree. They must also be licensed to practice in Virginia and possess effective communication and teamwork skills.
