Director of Nursing

Key Responsibilities

The Director of Nursing oversees daily clinical operations, manages budgets, and implements nursing policies to ensure high standards of patient care. They also lead quality improvement initiatives and provide direct supervision and professional development for the nursing staff.

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current Registered Nurse license in the state of employment. At least two years of supervisory experience in an acute setting is required, with preference given to those with Emergency Room or Medical-Surgical experience.
