Key Responsibilities

The Physician Associate is responsible for direct patient care under the supervision of a physician, collaborating with medical teams in inpatient, surgical, and/or outpatient settings. This role involves critical thinking, diagnosis, ordering medications and diagnostics, and performing corrective, preventive, and therapeutic measures.

Requirements

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant Program, with a Master's degree preferred, and must be able to assume medical staff privileging under the scope of practice determined by the Mount Sinai Health System. Experience of 0-2 years in the clinical specialty of hire is expected, though new graduates are also considered.
