Key Responsibilities
- /Responsibilities: The Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant is responsible the following duties: · Perform physical exams.
- · Diagnose and treat acute occupational injury and illnesses · Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments related to occupational injury/illness and triage emergencies.
- · Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients.
- · Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures.
Requirements
- The Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant shall have a minimum of two years of clinical experience in the provision of general medical services.
- Clinical experience in providing Occupational Health services is highly desirable.
- Education / Training: The Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant shall possess a minimum of a BSN from an accredited college or university.
- Successful completion of the AHA training in BLS and ACLS.
