Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care: Conduct routine treatments including IPPB, nebulizers, oxygen delivery, and chest physiotherapy (percussion, drainage, suctioning).
Critical Care: Set up, operate, and monitor mechanical ventilators; ensure adequate ventilation during CPR and emergency situations.
Diagnostics: Perform arterial punctures and blood gas analysis, pulse oximetry, and EKG/EEG procedures as required.
Patient Management: Review patient charts, document treatments legibly, and communicate effectively with physicians and the clinical team regarding patient status.
Maintenance: Process, clean, and package RT equipment for sterilization; maintain departmental cleanliness and monitor crash cart supplies.
- Compliance: Abide by all state/federal regulations and hospital policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Must hold a valid license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in the State of Texas.
- Required to maintain current certifications in CPR, ACLS, and PALS.

Requirements
Candidates must hold a valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in the State of Texas. Current certifications in CPR, ACLS, and PALS are required.
