Your Role as a PTA As a PTA, you’ll collaborate closely with physical therapists to deliver high-quality care. From implementing tailored treatment plans to empowering patients through exercises and activities, you’ll ensure every patient feels supported and valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in patient evaluations and implement treatment plans created by the Physical Therapist.
- Support patient progress by guiding therapeutic activities and exercises.
- Monitor and document patient responses, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to promote understanding and continuity of care.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential records.
- Contribute to discharge planning to help patients transition smoothly toward their goals.
- Stay up to date with professional knowledge through continued learning opportunities.

What We’re Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program with an Associate’s degree.
- Holds and maintains a valid VA state PTA license.

Compensation Range for This Position
$25.00 - $37.50
Compensation for this role will be based on several factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geography/market, and internal equity considerations.
